Terms of service
Last updated 5 September 2026. This is a test build.
1. What adstock sells
adstock licenses short video clips featuring AI-generated performers. Buying a clip grants you the asset license in full at the license page — non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free for commercial use. This is a license, not an assignment. adstock retains all rights, title and interest it holds in the asset, including any copyright to the extent one subsists, and licenses the same asset to other customers.
2. Acceptable use
You may not:
- resell, sublicense or redistribute a clip as stock footage, in a template, or in an asset pack;
- present a performer as a real customer, a real endorser, or a real employee;
- use a clip to train a machine-learning model, or to generate the performer's likeness elsewhere;
- use a clip in adult, hateful, defamatory or unlawful material, or in political advertising implying a real person's endorsement.
3. AI performers and disclosure
Every performer is AI-generated. Where your jurisdiction requires a synthetic-performer disclosure — New York General Business Law §396-b applies to advertising from June 2026 — you must carry the disclosure line shipped with the clip. adstock supplies the line; displaying it is your obligation. See AI disclosure.
4. Testimonials are dramatizations
No clip depicts a real customer's experience. If your edit reads as a testimonial or an endorsement it is a dramatization and must be labeled as one, per FTC 16 CFR Part 465 and Part 255. Suggested wording: “Dramatization. Not a real customer.”
5. Regulated categories
No clip in this catalog names a drug, a supplement, or a medical device, and none makes a health claim. If you license footage for pharmaceutical, supplement, medical-device or financial advertising, you confirm that no drug name or claim will be attached in a way that implies the performer is a patient or a clinician, and you remain responsible for your own FDA and FTC compliance.
6. Likeness clearance and takedown
Every performer was generated from a text prompt carrying an explicit instruction not to resemble any real person or public figure. No real person's face or voice was used as input, and no voice was cloned. If you believe a clip resembles a real person, write to takedown@adstock.example. We review, and where warranted we withdraw the asset and contact everyone who licensed it.
7. Third-party rights claims
If a third party believes a generated asset infringes their rights, the same address handles it. Tell us which asset, what right you hold, and why you believe it is infringed. We will respond and, where warranted, withdraw the asset pending review.
8. Your data
This build stores nothing about you. Checkout runs on Stripe's hosted page and Stripe holds the payment record; adstock reads your Checkout session back from Stripe to show your download links. There are no accounts, no analytics cookies, and no uploads. When custom orders open, the scripts and photos you send will be used to fulfil your order only, never to train a model, and deleted on request.
9. Warranty and liability
Assets are supplied “as is”. adstock warrants that it holds the rights it grants, and that generation used commercially licensed models. adstock does not warrant that an asset is unique or free of every third-party claim — no generative-model vendor offers that warranty today. Total liability is limited to what you paid for the asset.
